	*Music and nightly entertainment* can be had at the Uptown Piano Bar, just right downstairs in the Prince Solms Inn. The Uptown Piano Bar features talented musicians who play and sing your favorite songs. Dance if you wish. The entertainment enhances an evening of romance with your sweetheart, fun with friends or conversation with business associates.
Outside and up from the Cellar is the Uptown Courtyard* a great place for weddings, receptions, showers, private parties and special events*. They offer a full service bar, superb mixed drinks, wine, beer, appetizers, and cocktail snacks.

There's a lot to do in New Braunfels. It is dotted with antique shops and historic structures. In its heart are Landa Park, a small lake, Comal Springs, two swimming pools, a golf course, picnic areas and a train, which winds through it.

Tubing the Comal River is very popular with our guests. We are in the same neighborhood as tube rental facilities, such as, Texas Tubes and they will even shuttle you back from the river to the Prince Solms Inn!

Canoeing and rafting are also popular sports on the Guadalupe and Comal rivers. Sail boating and fishing are part of the fun of Canyon Lake.

Tennis players from around the world visit John Newcombe's tennis ranch, located just outside the city. Golfers are treated to a number of fine courses, including The Bandit, Sundance and Northcliffe.

Schlitterbahn is one of the nation's largest water parks, featuring 65 acres of water slides, tube chutes, wave pools and more.

Nearby San Antonio offers fun for all at its theme parks, Fiesta Texas and Sea World. And of course "Remember The Alamo!"

Visit Texas' largest caverns at nearby Natural Bridge Caverns. Cool factoid: The cavern maintains a temperature of 70° F year-round. The humidity is always 99%.

There are many restaurants and cafes that are within walking distance of the Inn. Myron's Steakhouse, Huisache Grill, and Friesenhaus Restaurant & Bakery. are favorites of our guests.
