Texas Camino Real
Camino Real means Kings Highway. It is the oldest and first road in Texas. The road goes from Monterey Mexico to Los Adaes in Louisiana and from Eagle Pass to Nacogdoches in Texas. It is about 450 miles long inside Texas and about 750 miles from Monterey to Los Adaes.
Touring the Camino Real from San Antonio to San Marcos is a very scenic
rural drive with historic German farmhouses, many stone fences, lots of
views.
