This room is named for Jessie Chisholm of Chisholm Trail fame. Jessie Chisholm and many other trail drivers passed in front of the Prince Solms Inn as they moved their herds up north. Back then, the street in front of the Feed Store -- now San Antonio Street -- was part of the Old Chisholm Trail. The Chisholm room is located next to the main building, in an adjacent building called the Feed Store. This room recalls the Old West with hardwood floors and rustic Texas-style decor. It has a private bath with shower, king size bed made in Mexico, and one double bed in the crawling loft (four feet tall) for children -- or anyone who doesn't mind climbing up and down the "permanent ladder", and sleeping up there. This room also has cable TV, telephone, a small refrigerator, coffee maker and iron/ironing board.

Sleeps up to four. Current rate: $150 for double occupancy. Additional persons charged at $20 each, per night.
